2 - Angry Indian Goddesses

  • introduces the main character
  • the colour scheme is consistent 
  • filtered effect on images that were not drawn
  • bright colours - suggests change
  • burnt hue - struggles faced by the protagonist
  • iconography of lots of women and female goddesses held in high regard in India - addresses issues of gender
  • iconography of protests = women's rights
  • embraces the culture of India 



3 - Hard Rock Medical 

  • depressed tones = heavy topics - key societal issues addressed
  • array of doctor iconography shown in each frame 
  • no real colour scheme 
  • only a desaturated edit with a vignette effect on the images
  • bleak overall sense/mood
  • no characters established

It is def looking better and you’ve taken on board you’re feedback so well done. Now let’s sort the sound. Still consider a more emotional re-record, and chop/layer the sound. As you’re using copyright free music, keep trawling and see if there’s anything else there.  From Miss Page, also consider whether you have a colour palette and how you can emphasise this. Especially if it is an art related trailer!

Features: Includes the main character facing away from the camera, looking down with lower eye-line meaning she is reflective  teenage girl = coming of age film names of the actors at the top the cross in the background brings in elements of religion - social realism the faded background forces the viewer to focus on the foreground image of the girl. the title is all you can read, but is not however as big as others the colours follow a faded, yellow/orange hint of tones to the film = a suburban feel. - reinforced by the red/pink/orange hair
