How would I make the film opening more pertinent to the world we live in. I would make the girl look more vulnerable to hint more towards the horror genre and also to question the innocence of the girl and i would achieve this by making the camera handheld to add to the idea that someone else was in the room and there was a threat for this to then be subverted by the idea that the person watching was a small child. To really climax the clip i would make the climax be at the point that you see the little girl's face rather than starting with the clip of the feet as this dulled down the comedy of the reveal. I would make the girl in the bath more violated as i would show more clips of her in the bath in a way that was more suggestive to show the stereotype of the girl who is the victim of the killer or of the genre, to then be subverted in the idea that she could be the killer.
